Basis

Basis is a system for building end-to-end data pipelines, without setting up any additional tools or infrastructure.

The modern data stack is powerful, but it's a heavy lift to implement. If you're building a self-contained data app like, say, grabbing new requests from your customer service SaaS, running a triage model in Python, and send alerts to the CS team based on the results, you may not want to build an entire data stack as a prerequisite.

Basis lets you skip all this, and instead build your data app as a sequence of reusable Python and SQL components. The user doesn't have to think about the underlying infra, and can instead focus on the code and queries at the heart of the data app.
